CISA is continuing its partnership with Holistic Management International (HMI) to offer a workshop series specifically aimed at women farmers in the state of Massachusetts.  If you’re a woman who has been farming for less than ten years and is interested in learning from other women farmers, here’s a chance to learn about whole farm planning.

The program consists of one-on-one mentorships, on-farm field days, business planning workshops, and a network of women farmers with shared concerns. Specific dates, times and location for the workshops are to be decided but expected to begin in November 2014. This is a 10-workshop series that has seven sessions held in the winter months and three farm tour sessions in the spring.  There will be a fee for this series, but scholarships are available.
