Spring Tree Identification

April 30, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Who goes there? Is that a maple, oak, black locust, or birch? If you would like to learn more about our the trees found at the BNC, and perhaps the ones that inhabit your yards and parks, join us for a morning walk. We will take a closer look at the forest around us and focus on basic tree ID. We will also discuss how climate change is impacting and chaning the forest compositions in Massachusetts. This program will include a discussion on climate change, as it is part of a series of programs partially funded by the EPA.

Registration is not required, but recommended. Walk-ins are welcome.
