Every Tuesday, Branchfood will host a well-known entrepreneur who will tell their story of how they launched a successful food enterprise. This is a recurring series debuting October 20 and ending December 1.
Join us for an honest conversation with food entrepreneurs. Our speakers will discuss early challenges of launching a food biz, where they focused their hustle, how they found capital and investors, and how they marketed and branded their product.

Who’s the mystery speaker on October 20? Shhhhh. We’ll never tell. But here are a few hints:
- A husband/wife duo started this snack company in 1996 out of a food cart in downtown Boston.
- After customers went crazy for the snack, the duo started wholesaling to local Boston retailers.
- By 2006, they were selling nearly $65 million in sales and employing more than 300 people in their factory based in Randolph, Mass
- Today you’ll see this snack being dipped in hummus around the country.
