Fermenting Vegetables 101

Ever thought about making naturally fermented sauerkraut or pickles? With vegetables, salt and water, you can be on your way to making delicious, healthy sauerkraut and fermented vegetables at home. It is a great way to preserve the abundance of local farmer’s markets and CSAs. During this workshop, we cover vegetable lacto-fermentation basics and get hands-on with sauerkraut. Attendees leave with recipes and a jar of sauerkraut ready from home fermentation. Instructor: Kimi Ceridon
