Farm Field Foraging Walk

June 4, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Join Education Director of Wright-Locke Farm, Rebekah Carter, on this late spring morning to learn about the many wild edible plants commonly found in and around farm fields, vacant lots, and overgrown areas. We’ll focus our attention on plants that are commonly foraged in the spring and summer seasons by exploring our farm fields and pasture areas. Bring a basket if you want to collect samples; a printed guide with pen and clipboard for note taking will also be provided. Please be sure to dress in raincoat and rain boots in the case of light rain / showers. No dogs are allowed during the workshop.

PLEASE NOTE: This workshop will be rescheduled to Sunday, June 12 in the case of heavy rain or thunderstorms on 6/4.
Tuition is $10 per person. Workshop is hosted by Wright-Locke Farm. Registration via wlfarm.org is REQUIRED (option to pay the day of the event is available).
