Demo Day in The KITCHEN: Nella Pasta & Gluten-Free Cooking
November 27, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 3:30 pmFree
Demo Day in The KITCHEN
On Sunday, November 27th come to The KITCHEN for Demo Day! During The KITCHEN’s weekend Demo Days, we invite local chefs and Boston Public Market vendors to cook and provide samples of recipes they love using ingredients from the Market. Sit for a while and watch these experts create delicious recipes using local, seasonal ingredients from our BPM farmers and artisans. Then taste samples of their creations and pick up the ingredients right in the Market to make the recipes at home.
Demo Day in The KITCHEN
Sunday, November 27th
12:00 pm – 3:30 pm
The KITCHEN at The Boston Public Market
100 Hanover Street
Boston, MA 02108
Demonstrations happening on Nov. 27:
12:00 pm to 1:30 pm | Chef Avery from Nella Pasta will demo three different pasta dishes using Nella’s famous, handmade pastas. Chef Avery will explain how to pair each type of pasta with the perfect sauce, veggies, cheeses and meats. Take a break from turkey and learn how to make fresh, easy pasta using ingredients from the market. This is a demo and tasting.
2:00 pm to 3:30 pm | Chef Oonagh Williams of Gluten Free Cooking with Oonagh will show you how to turn some Thanksgiving leftovers into tasty, affordable meals for the family that they will want again and again. Smell the onions and vegetables cooking for the ‘different Thanksgiving leftover Turkey soup’ with turkey, rich marinara sauce and spaghetti, child friendly flavors, easily made, only 5 minutes in my electric pressure cooker, or half an hour on the stove. Chef Oonagh will also make Winter Tabbouleh made with quinoa, winter vegetables, craisins and fresh lemon herb vinaigrette.
Take a break from your shopping to witness the culinary splendor of Demo Day and try a sample too!
