Cheesemaking – The Next Level

Fresh cheeses are wonderful, but they are only the beginning. Come learn about cultures, beneficial bacteria, pressing, and curing for aged cheeses. We will explore methods of creating delicious aged cheeses with relatively little equipment and fuss. We will discuss aging, creating a cheese cave, and building a cheese press. Join us on this continuation in the adventure of cheesemaking!
Open to adults and anyone age 16-17 with an adult. Registrants must have some basic cheesemaking experience – participation in our Simple Cheesemaking or an equivalent program as well as some practice at home is highly recommended.
